quater finals of the derby cup today ,chellaston v ts warriors
ts was down to the basic 11 players today with no subs ,so couldnt aford any injurys in this game if we wanted to keep the cup run going ,
ts started livley not letting the pressure off one bit ,ts first chance was from a great cross from james mcintire for declan bromley to head towords goal only for there keeper to save it , then some neat passing between jack hoult to bradley harrison to cross this time declan bromly made his chance and scored 1-0 to ts , yet again great deliverys in form brandon walker-insly and jack markham but no one got on the end of them , , then all wdown the right hand side again for brad to cross in to matty then dec went and put in the goal with his right foot to make it 2-0 to ts, then matty gaunt got injured so he came off for 15 mins , so we kept playing with 10 men and all dug in to keep the score at 2-0 till half time ,
2nd half chellaston came at us they had a shot from just inside of our half and looped over zaki in goal with our keeper not having any chance of getting a hand to it , 2-1 to ts , matty gaunt then came back on , ts got back to there best footballl we no , soild at the back with james hemingway stopping everything and jack hoult in midfiled determined to get every ball , like we told you dont let them have any time on the ball ,,bradley harrison ad a decent effert on goal only to hit the post , then it was ts on the break again jack hoults pass to declan bromly , and decs through ball to top scorer matthew furniss, 3-1 to ts ,ts then took control of the game with every forward move , edward worth played a great ball which fell to matthew again for him to get his 2nd of the game 4-1 to ts , then eddy again passed to matthew gaunt to score to make it 5-1 to ts , some nice free kicks from brandan again the 2nd half but yet again no one to latch on to them ,(something to learn at traing ), chellaston kept trying with long range shots cus they couldnt get through ts players but zaki kept them at bay ,,,then 1 last push fro us , and matty gaunt got his 2nd of the game to make the final score CHELLASTON 1-V TS SPORTS 6
