If coming from Burton along the A444,follow through Overseal and take the first left after the cricketers Arms in Acresford(signposted Measham).Proceed until taking the first left again(signposted Donisthorpe/Moira) and follow until reaching a mini roundabout.Turn Right at the roundabout and the pitch is on the left hand side.

If coming along the A511 head for the Clock Island in Woodville.

Travellers from the Ashby direction should take the 1st exit at the clock island roundabout,commuters from the Burton direction should take the 3rd exit (signposted for Moira) following signs for Conkers.
Once passing Conkers continue until reaching crossroads and go straight over (heading for Measham).At the next crossroads (Masons Arms Public house),turn right and follow until reaching a mini roundabout,take the left there and the pitch is immediately on your left.

Alternative for Ashby commuters is heading out of town on the B5003 towards Moira.Once into Moira go past the Railway Public House and at the crossroads turn left towards Measham.Proceed until turning right at the next crossroads(Masons Arms) and follow until reaching the mini roundabout.Take the left there and the pitch is immediately on your left.

I would like to gauge interest from all the players and parents regarding whether you would like to enter this.

There are a few main things to consider :

The tournament is during the last week of term for most kids.(i know the lads will cheer but this is one for the parents)

2 main types of travel / accomodation:
no1 (most common)- If we fly and stay in school halls as a team and 4 adult coaches then cost will be approx £450 per player.
(parents stay seperate)

no2 - If players stay in hotel with parents then cost will range based on quality of hotel.

I will be asking your opinions over the next month as would like to start a savings scheme if you all want to go....

28th or 29th August v Kegworth
Kegworth , 18:30 kick off.
(this date may change to 28th as 29th clashes)

25th August = No training

1st September = 3pm -4:30pm Gresley Park

8th September = 10:30-12pm Gresley park

Due to hammers playing on Saturday mornings then i will be discussing training day/times with you all on the 8th September.

We desperately need someone to take the minutes of the monthly commitee meeting. I'll even treat you to a cuppa !!
